Physical Therapy in Omaha, NE

Stop Guessing. Start Moving.

Recurring pain, repeat injuries, and no clear path forward — that's exhausting. At Precision Physical Therapy, you get one-on-one care with a therapist and a plan built around your goals, your sport, and your life.

What Happens When You Keep Pushing Through

The same injury keeps coming back

You rest, you feel better, you get back to training — and then it happens again. Without a real plan of care, you're stuck in a cycle that costs you training time and confidence.

Generic advice isn't getting you anywhere

You've tried ice, stretching, maybe even another PT clinic. But if nobody's looked at how you actually move and built a plan around your goals, the problem never fully gets solved.

You're losing ground every week you wait

Missed runs, skipped lifts, sitting out rounds of pickleball or golf. Every week without a clear plan is another week further from the activity and the performance you want back.

Common Conditions We Treat

Pain That's Keeping You From Training

Common reasons people book physical therapy at Precision PT — from recurring running injuries to shoulder pain, low back issues, and post-injury return to sport.

Running Injuries — Recurring pain from Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, or knee and hip issues that won't stay resolved.

Low Back Pain — Nagging or flaring back pain that limits your lifts, your rounds of golf, or your ability to keep up at work and at home.

Shoulder Pain — Shoulder issues from overhead lifting, throwing sports, or general training that have been lingering longer than they should.

Knee Pain — Pain that shows up during squats, runs, or court sports — and keeps you guessing about when it's going to flare next.

Hip and Groin Issues — Hip impingement, groin strains, or tightness that limits your stride, your squat depth, or your swing rotation.

Neck and Upper Trap Pain — Headaches, neck stiffness, and upper trap tension that come from training load, posture, or stress — and make it hard to perform.

Elbow Pain — Lateral or medial elbow pain from lifting, racquet sports, or repetitive overhead activity that makes gripping and swinging uncomfortable.

Post-Injury Return to Sport — You've had a setback and want to get back to training with a structured, confident plan — not just cleared to go and left to figure it out.

Real Results From Omaha PT Clients

I saw Jon for a nagging knee injury that sidelined my training in the lead up to some running races. He was able to get me in quickly and gave me confidence that I could still hit my goals if I was willing to put in the work. We dove straight into a program that managed the pain while at the same time making me stronger. The result was being able to resume activity without issues or pain, and a shiny new PR too!

Saw Jon today for treatment on lower back and trap dry needling (with stim) - awesome job. He also cupped my last- went to the gym and had a great back workout. He has been an amazing PT. He has helped me maintain my lifting goals.

Highly recommend seeing Jon for any injury! I was trying to tough out a hip injury hoping it would go away eventually. After my first visit I got set up with specific exercises to start that day. I’ve also added on dry needling recovery sessions that have made an amazing difference in my hip. I’m so glad I chose precision physical therapy and could not recommend it more!

Frequently Asked Questions

Here's what active adults in Omaha commonly ask before starting physical therapy at Precision PT.

Do you accept insurance?

Precision Physical Therapy is a cash-based clinic, which means we do not bill insurance directly. You pay at the time of your session, and we provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We also accept HSA and FSA payments. Many people find that the one-on-one model and focused plan of care more than make up for the out-of-pocket cost — especially when they stop cycling through repeat injuries.

How many visits will I need?

Every plan of care is individualized based on your evaluation findings, your goals, and how your body responds to treatment. We don't use preset packages — instead, we build a plan that fits your situation and adjust it as you progress. After your first visit, you'll have a clear picture of what the plan looks like and what to expect moving forward.

I've tried PT before and it didn't work. How is this different?

That's one of the most common things we hear. A lot of people have had PT experiences where they felt like just another appointment on the schedule — exercises on a sheet, time on a machine, and not much one-on-one attention. At Precision PT, every session is with the therapist from start to finish. Your plan is built around how you actually move and what your goals are, not a generic protocol for your diagnosis.

Can I continue training while I'm in PT?

In most cases, yes — and staying active is often part of the plan. One of our goals is to help you understand what you can keep doing, what to modify, and how to train in a way that supports your recovery rather than working against it. We'll be clear about this from the start and adjust as needed throughout your plan of care.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit is a full one-on-one evaluation with the therapist. We'll go through your history, assess how you move, identify what's driving the problem, and build a clear plan of care before you leave. You'll know what we found, what the plan looks like, and what the path forward is — so you leave with clarity, not just a follow-up appointment.
