Jon is a 5 star PT, highly recommended.

Jon worked wonders for me after a major foot surgery that was not healing well. He helped with nerve pain and within a week I was weight bearing and on the move. Jon takes his time to get to know you and assess the best treatment!

Highly recommend seeing Jon for any injury! I was trying to tough out a hip injury hoping it would go away eventually. After my first visit I got set up with specific exercises to start that day. I’ve also added on dry needling recovery sessions that have made an amazing difference in my hip. I’m so glad I chose precision physical therapy and could not recommend it more!

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about getting started at Precision Physical Therapy in Omaha.

Do I need a referral to start physical therapy in Omaha?

No. Nebraska allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book a phone consult and get started without seeing a doctor first. If your insurance plan requires a referral for potential reimbursement via superbill, we can talk through that during your consult.

How many visits will I need?

Every plan of care is different because every person and goal is different. After your evaluation, we'll outline a clear path forward based on what we find and what you're working toward — whether that's a race, a lifting goal, or just moving without pain again.

Will I have to stop training while I'm in PT?

Not usually. Our goal is to keep you active through your plan of care. We'll work with your training schedule and adjust loads or intensity where needed, but most people are still moving and making progress from the first session.

Why doesn't Precision Physical Therapy take insurance?

Being cash-based allows us to give you a full one-on-one hour with the therapist every session — no double-booking, no rushed visits, no care delegated to an aide. We accept HSA and FSA and provide superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Come dressed to move — athletic shorts or leggings and a t-shirt work great. Runners should bring their current training shoes. We'll do a thorough evaluation, talk through your goals and history, and walk you out with a clear plan of care for what comes next.

Still have questions?

Reach out anytime and we'll be happy to help you figure out the right next step.
