What Omaha Athletes Are Saying

I have known Jon McQuistan for over 7 years managing my post op knee care at Bellevue Physical Therapy. Jon goes above & beyond the call of duty whether collaborating with his patients or handling his office duties. His diligence is always at the highest level. I had two knee surgeries and requested Jon from Bellevue Physical Therapy to manage my PT care again. Always displaying the same professionalism!
My wife Yvonne had knee surgery in March 2025. I trusted Jon again at Bellevue Physical Therapy to assist her in knee recovery. If it were not for Jon’s patience, empathy and his personality, my wife would not have the confidence in him to help her overcome her anxiety. She has nothing but extreme gratitude towards Jon in the outcome of her results.
I have done over 23 years of military service in the United States Air Force. If I were being deployed, Jon McQuistan would be the first person I would call, to be deployed with me for duty. He is a true professional & job well done. Thanks again for all you do!

Wilbert R & Yvonne Young

I saw Jon for a nagging knee injury that sidelined my training in the lead up to some running races. He was able to get me in quickly and gave me confidence that I could still hit my goals if I was willing to put in the work. We dove straight into a program that managed the pain while at the same time making me stronger. The result was being able to resume activity without issues or pain, and a shiny new PR too!

I've been to this PT office for multiple injuries over the years—from a herniated disk to plantar fasciitis—and every single time, Jon has been incredible. He's not only professional and highly knowledgeable, but also fun to talk to and a genuinely good listener. He takes the time to understand what's going on, approaches each issue with care, and—most importantly—he fixes it.

There are definitely days during recovery that can be uncomfortable (as you'd expect with physical therapy), but I can confidently say that it always, always, always leads to real healing. I trust Jon completely, and I wouldn't go anywhere else and ensure all of my family members see him too. Highly recommend! Also, his dog is super cute.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about getting started at Precision Physical Therapy in Omaha.

Do I need a referral to start physical therapy in Omaha?

No. Nebraska allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book a phone consult and get started without seeing a doctor first. If your insurance plan requires a referral for potential reimbursement via superbill, we can talk through that during your consult.

How many visits will I need?

Every plan of care is different because every person and goal is different. After your evaluation, we'll outline a clear path forward based on what we find and what you're working toward — whether that's a race, a lifting goal, or just moving without pain again.

Will I have to stop training while I'm in PT?

Not usually. Our goal is to keep you active through your plan of care. We'll work with your training schedule and adjust loads or intensity where needed, but most people are still moving and making progress from the first session.

Why doesn't Precision Physical Therapy take insurance?

Being cash-based allows us to give you a full one-on-one hour with the therapist every session — no double-booking, no rushed visits, no care delegated to an aide. We accept HSA and FSA and provide superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Come dressed to move — athletic shorts or leggings and a t-shirt work great. Runners should bring their current training shoes. We'll do a thorough evaluation, talk through your goals and history, and walk you out with a clear plan of care for what comes next.

Still have questions?

Reach out anytime and we'll be happy to help you figure out the right next step.
